1. The Fowler family c1892 Charles and wife Miranda are at back. Centrepiece are Miranda's parents The Owen-Smiths.
Phyllis is bottom left and Phoebe centre bottom. 2. Charles in the uniform of the Artists Rifles.,3. and 4. show Charles and his wife. (4. is a self portrait of Phyllis) The portraits are now hanging in the Sloop Inn at Scaynes Hill Sussex (see 'wills' in 1918 - 1939 pages). 5. and 6. Phoebe c1898 and with Phyllis and their parents.
7. Gus Fowler, third child of Charles Jnr c.1900. 8. and 9. More family photo's in Leeds. 10. Unknown - could be Charles
Jnr as a baby. 11 and 12. Entries made in Phoebes Album. 13. A letter from Phoebe to Gus. Gus it would appear was visiting family in Leeds - would date about 1905. 14. Unknown but possibly a Laura Lishman, a cousin.
15. and 16. portrays Matthew Cannon in his profession of Manufacturing Chemist in London. 17. Matthew Cannon
Senior (b.1844), his wife Sarah and Matthew jnr with Alice. The other two I cannot say - maybe brother ?
18. Charles and Elizabeth Leonard outside their home in Tonbridge with all their children, just a stones throw away from
